In the Gospel of John chapter 2...
Jesus has just begin his adult earthly ministry.
He had been invited to a wedding.
His mother Mary was there, overseeing the activities.
An unforeseeable situation arose with the wine.
Like any mother,  knowing well her own adult child...
makes the most profound statement in all of scripture.
John 2   verse 2
"Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it."

In the Gospel of Mathew chapter 22...
Jesus was asked about things in the future.
He answered with a parable.
How a father overseeing a son's wedding...
Like Mary, also encountered a unforeseeable situation.
Those invited turned down the father's invitation to come.
The father,  verse 9 of Mathew chapter 22
Like Mary, responded with an equally profound statement .
"Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many
   as ye shall find, bid to the marriage."

OPENING:
Congratulations to you Meghan. Last Friday completing obligations.
Both you and Austin have accomplished much.
Your compass in Life has guided both of you well.
Two people, from different backgrounds, taking separate paths...
How one day crossed paths...like two compasses close to each other....
The magnet in one...reacted...on the other....your bearing changed....
Stayed the course for your last good reading.
Today, you have chosen a new journey...one path....together.
Using two compasses now will not work.  You need a single guide.

CLOSING:
To you Austin, and to you Meghan, Together
Invite Jesus  into your marriage.
Obey Him. Whatsoever he saith, do it.  Let HIM be your guide.

Likewise, in your marriage,
Accept the heavenly fathers invitation.
Plan and prepare ....your future together...
Accept the heavenly Father's Invitation....
To take advantage of all The Father has in store for his SON.
MOTHERS WISDOM....FATHERS...WISE COUNCEL.
