Samuel Finley Breese Morse was born April 27, 1791, in Charlestown, Massachusetts.
Each year around the birthday of Samuel Morse, railroad fans, telegraph operators,
licensed ham radio operators, engineers and technicians all pay tribute to the American
Railroad and Samuel Morse for their role in modern day communications.
