Sanctuary Project and Community Access
We would like to live out our dream of completing our sanctuary that will be simple, beautiful and versatile; a place for both ministry and hospitality which can deepen our lives together and can also be a place of spiritual nourishment for the larger community of Willits.  With the help of architect John Cross and building contractor Tom Allen, we have planned a quiet and energy efficient building with straw bale infill walls, which will continue to allow the community access to the arbor and garden.  The space has been sanctified by the prayers of many people using the labyrinth and we plan to include a new labyrinth in the garden.
Can you help us reach our goal?

Our new sanctuary faces Main Street while our current sanctuary faces Commercial Street.

The Mission of St. Francis in the Redwoods is:
--to be a tangible sign, in our life together, in our worship,
and in our ministry, of God's continuing love and care
for all of God's creation; and
--to serve Christ joyously in the spirit of our patron Francis.
